One car I never get sick of seeing is the Corvette. This model was an absolutely spotless 1954 convertible, which was only the second year of Corvette production, after a very low run of 300 examples in 1953. The pictures speak for themselves, so take a look at the beautiful curves and wonderful details, such as the grilles over the headlights or the recessed rear licence plate. A true work of art!
(Some of you might recall a story about this from a while back: In Need Of Some Attention)
The black Model T at the show was a great sight, and attracted alot of attention. I'm pretty sure many of the people at the show were discovering the Model T for the first time. Better late than never, right?!
A good friend from France bought a similar Caterham 7 (same gorgeous green color and similar yellow accents) just after I moved to China in 2014, and seeing this 7 reminded me that I have to plan a trip back for a drive in his car! I showed him these pictures, and he told me that while basically the same car as his, this 7 was a 'widebody' version with a little more room inside.
And to prove that I was already a fan of this car, I wrote a fairytale with his 7 as the hero a little while back: The Tale of The Frog That Liked Roast Beef.
